Celebrities who have Received the COVID-19 Vaccine

The COVID-19 vaccine is finally here, and currently, several vaccines are already rolled out and some in the last phases of testing. The Moderna and Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine is amongst the most popular ones, and currently, it is used worldwide to prevent the spreading of coronavirus. The United Kingdom was the first country that started with the vaccination process, and soon after, people from all over the world got the chance to protect themselves and everyone around them. Even though there are restrictions on age and career, some celebrities managed to get this vaccine, and here we are going to talk about the biggest names in the show business who already received the COVID-19 vaccine.

Sir Ian McKellen

Sir Ian McKellen is one of the most popular actors in Hollywood, and on December 17th of last year, he shared a photo on Twitter saying that he had received his first dose of the Pfitzer vaccine. He reported that he feels lucky to receive it and that he would recommend it to anyone.

Joan Collins

Dame Joan Collins is an English actress, author, and columnist, best known for her role in Dynasty. She shared a post on her Instagram account on January 10th, urging people to follow her example. Joan added:

“I really want to tell anybody worried to know that there’s nothing to worry about. I really wanted to get it,’ she explained. ‘It’s the easiest thing, just a little scratch. There was no pain at all. No after effects, I was fine, went home, and I had a drink even. If your GP asks you, go.”

Martha Stewart

Another person we all know and admire and Steward shared a video on January 11th that she had received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. In her Instagram post, she wrote:

“I am so proud of and grateful to the doctors, nurses, and medical staff who are wading through the red tape and confusion of the distribution of these very important vaccines. I am excited to have received my dosage and look forward to the booster.”

Steve Martin

Steve Martin is more than just an actor; he is a comedian and a legend that we all know and love. In his recognizable style, she shared a tweet on January 17th that he got the vaccine but feels bad because he is getting old.

Arnold Schwarzenegger

The politician, actor, and above all else, The Terminator got his vaccine as well. On January 20th, on his Twitter account, he shared a short video of the process, and, in his recognizable style, he added:

“Come with me if you want to live!”

Patrick Stewart

Professor Xavier is another one on the list of celebrities who got vaccinated. He shared a video on his Instagram feed that he had received the first dose of the vaccine on January 22nd at Dodger Stadium. He is feeling well after the vaccination, and he mentioned that he is grateful and hopeful for better days ahead.

Samuel L. Jackson

The famous actor wore a Marvel superhero mask and shared on his Instagram feed that he had received the first dose of the vaccine at the Forum in Inglewood on January 23rd.

Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip

Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip also got vaccinated on January 9th, and a household doctor gave the vaccine at Windsor Castle.

These are some of the famous people who got vaccinated. The list grows every day, and people worldwide, no matter their age or career, will be able to protect themselves from the coronavirus in the upcoming months.
